Investigating Electricity Kit In Stock Now

Comprehensive classroom activities and lessons all in one convenient package.

    - Address all the facets of physical science

    - Explore topics with up to 30 students

    - Set up multiple stations

Seven exciting activities lead students through a complete examination of electricity. From basic principles to applications in an electrochemical cell, these hands-on experiments offer opportunities for students to work in groups and travel from station to station, applying the illustrated concepts to each new activity. Students explore static electricity with an electroscope and friction rods, make their own simple series and parallel circuits, investigate the resistivity of a wire due to its thickness and length, and determine the different voltages made by an elecxtrochemical cell. In completing these projects, students learn about induction and conduction, circuits, Ohm’s law, and much more. A static electricity set, electroscope, pith balls, battery holders, bulb holders, light bulbs, jumper wires, wire of various gauges, electrochemical cell set with seven salt solutions, and a teacher and student guide are all included. Developed by the Science Kit product development team. Grades 7–12. Batteries and power supplies are required, but not included.

NOTICE: Currently, the electroscope has a a damaged foil leaf. The rest of the kit is in working condition!
